This past week Nate had a heart doctor appointment to see what stage his heart is in. I won’t go into all of the technical talk… but, Nate’s heart condition is called “Tetralogy of Fallot” – A rare condition caused by a combination of four heart defects that are present at birth.
At the age of two Nate had his first heart surgery. But the procedure they performed on him as a baby wasn’t a permanent fix; so, now he is in the stages of needing treatment again. There are a few more tests they are going to perform to see just how soon he will need to have this operation. Last we were told, he is possibly looking at having surgery sometime within the year.
Hearing this gives us even more motivation to work on the house. Our prayer is to be able to move into it before they have to open his chest. Nate really wants to recover in our own home and it would just make things so much easier to take care of him after his open heart surgery. I pray a lot for his heart and the doctors who will be performing this procedure. I ask you to do the same.
God has been so generous to us already by giving us our house and everything we have in life. (Thank you, Yahweh!) I am just so excited to see what all He has planned for us! There is so much that can weigh us down and it is our choice whether or not we let it. With God’s help nothing can stop us… I mean look at us, WE MOVED A HOUSE!
